About Us

Having worked abroad most of my 22-year career, I know how hard it is to find work – particularly after the job has ended, and you are in complicated part of the world.

The UK is generally not an option for most of us, so I decided to found the BCAA and help Brits abroad pull together whenever and where ever we can.

The work we do is no less important to that being done in the UK. In fact, I will go further and say that, because we work in some of the most difficult places in the world, it is more important.

The pressure is far greater, and the consequences of failure can be dire. We are overlooked on a regular basis for positions back in the UK, and are not given the respect we deserve.

So if you are British and work abroad, or want to, we would like to hear from you.

We want to share experiences, and job opportunities. Join the Linkedin group, follow britcoachabroad on Twitter, and check this site for updates. It’s free, and always will be.

If you’re a fan, have a look at our interviews page – there are some amazing stories from every corner of the world. We have carried out in-depth interviews with more than 40 coaches, which we share with thesetpieces.com.

Finally, if you’re interested in my career, my autobiography, From Delhi to the Den, is available from decoubertin.co.uk.

Thank you and enjoy the game

Stephen Constantine, India national team manager and founder of the BCAA
